In the Chinese calendar, each year is represented by an animal and its corresponding element. There are 12 animals in total, forming the 12-year cycle of Chinese astrology. For 2024, the Lunar New Year began on February 10th, lasting 15 days, as the Rabbit handed the baton to the Dragon!
We welcome the Chinese New Year 2024 by introducing Flavour Factory’s Dragon, the protagonist of this year’s festive communication with our consumers and partners. Our new TV spots, advertisements, promotions, and festive competitions, integrated with our broadcast campaign, mark the beginning of these celebrations and the arrival of the Lunar New Year.
Also known as the Spring Festival, Chinese New Year originated as an agricultural celebration, allowing farmers to follow the rhythm of the seasons. The festivities culminate in the famous Lantern Festival, featuring the spectacular Dragon Dance.
The Dragon, a symbol of power and wisdom, is associated with the element of Fire and the energy of Yang. It is expected to bring positive change and new opportunities. Known for its honesty and strong sense of duty, the Chinese say that if your friend is a Dragon, you are truly lucky!
